Danske Bank taps SunTec for fee and billing management upgrade

Danish multinational Danske Bank has selected SunTec and its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Xelerate solution as it looks to upgrade its fee and billing management processes.

SunTec will provide its enterprise-wide fee management programme as part of the bank’s digital core modernisation.

SunTec CEO Nanda Kumar says the collaboration will enable Danske Bank to implement “innovative and customer-centric pricing models”.

The firm says its cloud-native Xelerate solution will help Danske Bank to access products and pricing via APIs, ensure faster time-to-market and provide flexible bundling options.

It also claims the upgrade will improve sales processes and lead to a better customer experience with more transparency and flexible pricing options.

Danske Bank’s senior vice president and head of digital core banking Nicolaj Gudbergsen says implementing the right pricing capabilities is a “critical step” in the transformation of Danske Bank’s core banking engine.

“SunTec is providing a platform that supports our product roadmap, provides the flexible technology we need, and enables us to digitise our workflows as we scale,” Gudbergsen adds.

SunTec provides cloud-based products including pricing, loyalty programs, and billing to more than 130 clients across 45 countries.
