Save Ukraine Spearheads First Aid, Other Critical Supplies to Ukraine Civilians

Save Ukraine is facilitating the purchase and delivery of first aid kits and other critical supplies to the brave civilians of Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. Money will be used for medical kits, vehicles to transport supplies, housing and accommodation for volunteers, and other expenses in line with providing healthcare to civilian-turned-soldiers.

For the uninitiated, Russia invaded its neighbor Ukraine, which is part of Europe, last week.

Jason Grad, an entrepreneur originally from NYC, is leading the fundraise. He wrote:

I moved to Kyiv, Ukraine, during the pandemic because everything was open and because we have part of my company’s team here. I’ve gotten to know the peaceful, kind-hearted, hard-working, no-nonsense people of Ukraine over the last two years. Many of them took me in as family despite being new to the country.
I never before thought that I would see my peace-loving, well-intentioned friends (many of whom are also entrepreneurs) be turned into soldiers. People here that I know mind their own business, are helpful to each other, and are trying to build cool companies. Imagine seeing your city and country burned to the ground over nothing – a voluntary war by an aggressor nation.
This is not just about Ukraine. It is about ending an evil force. Resisting. Doing whatever we can to support the Ukrainian soldiers, who are fighting for us all. Me and some of my entrepreneur friends who lived in Ukraine are going to Poland to ensure the delivery of these supplies to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. Help from other nations will take weeks. Time we don’t have. The next few days are crucial. We must band together to put a stop to what could quickly escalate into WWIII.
After the Holocaust, we started saying “never again.” Now it’s time to put action behind those words and restore peace.
