Delta Line continues to expand its range of motion control solutions with the launch of two 115 mm frameless brushless DC (BLDC) motor designs.

In addition to frameless BLDC motors in 50 mm, 70 mm and 85 mm, the new 115 mm motors, manufactured by Delta Line’s company Fulling Motor, offer a wide range of options for OEMs and users who need a compact, high-power motor that can provide smooth motion, high efficiency and easy integration into their assembly.

Both of the new motors, 115BLF25 and 115BLF50, have an outer diameter of 115 mm. The 115BLF25 motor has a length of just 39 mm with a rated torque of 3.9 Nm at rated speed of 1400 rpm and can produce a peak torque of 17.1 Nm. The 115BLF50 motor has a length of only 68 mm and is rated for 9.51 Nm torque at 620 rpm, with a peak torque of 31.4 Nm.

Like Delta Line’s 50 mm, 70 mm and 85 mm frameless BLDC motors, these new 115 mm motors were designed to minimize weight and inertia, making them ideal for dynamic movements with high acceleration and deceleration rates. And the 115 mm motors use a single-piece winding for simpler manufacturing and higher reliability.

The size 115 frameless BLDC motors were developed to meet the space and performance requirements of robot joints, and they’re also well-suited for applications such as handheld tools and medical devices, where high torque, efficiency and compact size are important. The frameless design means these motors are easily integrated directly into a device or machine, so overall efficiency is maximized while footprint can be kept as small as possible.

Advantages at a glance:

  • High torque in a small footprint for dynamic performance
  • Frameless design allows direct integration for compact size and high efficiency
  • Smooth motion with low cogging for precise control
