Diebold Nixdorf has been selected by Langley Federal Credit Union (FCU) to manage the firm’s self-service banking operations.
Langley FCU will implement the full suite of Diebold’s ATM-as-a-Service offering, DN AllConnect Services, and replace its entire ATM fleet with new DN Series devices.
It hopes the move will increase branch and ATM channel efficiency and enhance its customer experience.
Langley FCU is a federally-chartered credit union and is one of the 100 largest credit unions in the US, with more than 320,000 members and $4.2 billion in assets.
The DN Series ATMs will be hooked up to the DN AllConnect Data Engine, which will leverage machine learning to continuously aggregate and crunch customer data in the cloud in order to generate personalised, actionable insights.
Diebold claims this will decrease the number of incidents and resolution time and significantly improve ATM availability.
The credit union will pay a monthly fee in exchange for all implementation, maintenance, monitoring and event management, compliance, security, cash management and transaction management to be handled by Diebold.
Langley FCU will also implement Transaction Automation, part of the DN Vynamic Branch Transformation suite of software solutions.
When an ATM detects an on-us customer, the ATM will process the transaction directly to the credit union’s core backend system.
This enables Langley FCU to facilitate transactions in-house whenever possible and enables more advanced and complex transactions.
Deployment of the entire solution is expected to be completed by July 2022.
In February, Diebold Nixdorf announced a new president and CEO, Octavio Marquez, who took over the role on 11 March 2022.
