The Propelify Innovation Festival, which Forbes called the “SXSW of the Northeast,” is fast approaching. On October 6th, 2022, 5000 attendees, thousands of startups, and more than 100 speakers will gather together at Maxwell Place Park in Hoboken, NJ to connect and propel ideas into action.
The festival welcomes innovators and people from all over, serving as a place to listen to and learn from amazing speakers and connect with startups and investors. It will feature virtual reality, drones, over 50 exhibitors, three startup competitions, and hundreds of investor meetings.
The startup competitions will also have incredible prizes, with more than $100,000 up for grabs overall. The competitions are expected to be fierce, with talented innovators from 15 countries and 43 states to be represented.
Propelify’s speakers are always top-notch as well. Historically, the festival has brought big names like Gary Vaynerchuk, Arianna Huffington, and Al Roker to its stages. This year, things are just as exciting, with Jeffrey Robinson, Ralph Izzo, and Sara Cline among the many fantastic individuals ready to share their knowledge.
Grit Daily Editor-at-Large John Biggs is set to take the stage, too, with author Doug Rushkoff, to talk all things “Survival of the Richest: Decoding Ourselves from Technology.”
Sara Cline, NFT strategist, will share a panel titled: The Future of Hospitality in a World of NFTs and Web3. The panel will be held from 2:15 PM – 2:40 PM on the Stage of Finspiration, one of the two stages alongside the Stage of Wisdom at the festival.
The panel will also feature Josh Capon, CCO of VCR Group, and David Rodolitz, founder of Flyfish Club. Together, they look to inspire the audience with their thoughts on the topic, so it is something you will not want to miss if you are in attendance. But that is true of the entire festival, something Sara Cline hopes people will embrace:
“The emerging landscape of Blockchain, Web3 and NFTs moves so fast that it’s hard to document in real time. Nobody can tell you yet what works, what will succeed, or what will fail, but there is intangible value in listening to the experiences and ideas of those who’ve come before you and built the foundation of a global ecosystem. I hope people who are curious will embrace the discourse and developments happening inside of conferences like Propelify. You’re likely to hear insights and observations that are otherwise impossible to access and relevant to the here and now, not the whatever was happening 5 months ago or 5 years ago.”
Tickets are still available, and applications remain open on Propelify’s website for those wanting to take part.
