Silicon-Valley Teen Satyam Goyal Creates the Personalized AI-based Yoga Instructor to Promote the Benefits of Mindfulness

(Oct 26th, 2021) – California teen Satyam Goyal has launched the latest in fitness and health platforms, the AI-based Yoga app. Satyam finds his purpose in helping the community battle stress through Yoga and Mindfulness techniques. The AI-based Yoga app is a virtual Yoga instructor that guides the student through various Yoga techniques through their own cellphone.

The AI-based Yoga app is an artificial intelligence-based application that helps the user identify Yoga poses and provide modified responses to help them better their form and positions and derive maximum outcomes. Other than the general users, Satyam believes that this app will help play a big role in solving the mental health problems that high school students face. Students, teachers, professors, etc., can now easily relieve stress by bringing mindfulness into their life.

Satyam’s first steps involved organizing instructor-led live and recorded Zoom Yoga sessions alongside his blog that brought awareness about the importance of mental health. Today, people around the world tune into Satyam’s Zoom Yoga sessions. Satyam first began these online sessions in April, 2020 when the pandemic first hit the world. Since then, he has been unceasingly motivating people of all ages to become a part of it.

Satyam says that at this time of social distancing when people are unable to meet in person, these virtual yoga meetings and practice of mindfulness are more important than ever. Concepts such as Action (A), Breathing (B), and Concentration(C), in this existing condition, have helped people sustain a stable emotional and mental status.

It is important that yoga should be practiced in the correct postures and forms. Incorrect postures can cause unproductive results to the extent of pernicious effects. This creates the necessity of a Yoga instructor to administer the appropriate individual posture”, says the young visionary Satyam Goyal.

It is no secret that genuine yoga instructors are rare and hiring a professional instructor can turn out to be a costly affair. Especially in the US, where Yoga is not commonly practiced, finding an expert is not easy. The overall cost of hiring a full-time instructor, and the lack of resource availability make it even more difficult to provide Yoga for the masses at a reasonable rate. Taking these factors into account, Satyam realized the only answer was the need for technology-based assistance. Being a technology enthusiast, he was glad to use technology in his noble cause.

Currently, Satyam Goyal is a senior year student in American High School, Fremont, CA. Being an active member of the yoga club in school, he is constantly encouraging his schoolmates to practice mindfulness for at least a few minutes every day. Besides being an ordinary teen, Satyam takes this mission very seriously.
