Beatbot, a technology brand in the pool robotics industry, is creating the underwater equivalent of a Roomba. It is that technology, the Beatbot AquaSense Pro, that was unveiled at CES 2024. The all-in-one robot vacuum made a splash, showing off the ability to clean pools in a smart and efficient manner.
Unlike many other pool cleaners on the market, Beatbot’s AquaSense and AquaSense Pro have true decision-making capabilities. Everything from the Beatbot OS to the smart chips, multi-sensor fusion, and AI algorithms contribute toward the bot’s cleaning power.
The robot features nine motor system pairs, four brushes, and two filters. The components give it power and versatility with several different speeds for better control.
According to the CEO and founder of Beatbot, Siler Wang, pool robots have been falling behind their home-cleaning counterparts. The challenges have traditionally included overall performance issues, limited coverage, and outdated features. But Beatbot has made efforts to solve these problems.
According to Wang, among other pool bots, the Beatbot AquaSense Pro “is the first to bring advanced intelligence, AI and a series of modern improvements to make pool ownership so much easier.”
Primarily, the ease comes from improved efficiency and performance, starting with better navigation logic and cleaning paths. The addition of AI has allowed for these upgrades, helping the AquaSense robot to move around without getting stuck or missing areas. Moreover, the AquaSense is capable of cleaning both the surface and other pool areas, which has been lacking from competitors.
Features of the Beatbot AquaSense Pro:
- AI for Ultra-Efficient Cleaning: True decision thinking, featuring AI. The AI works with 20 smart sensors, including dual gyroscopes and dual ultrasonic sensors, to “see” and “understand” its environment. This enables adaptive navigation and 100% pool coverage.
- Power and Versatility: The motors, brushes, and filters provide both power and versatility. Different speeds, ultra-fine filtration, and a top suction port work toward a thorough clean. Plus, it is equipped with a battery that supports operation for more than 9 hours.
- Fully Cordless: The need for a cord always held pool vacuums back, and the Beatbot AquaSense Pro cuts that cord.
- Quality: Testing and a commitment to continued updates to the Beatbot OS set the AquaSense to continue improving for years to come.
At CES 2024, onlookers got to witness the robot, which Beatbot believes will be the future of pool cleaning. The Beatbot AquaSense Pro will be available at $2199, while the Beatbot Aquasense will be at $1299.
