In a significant move to foster diversity and innovation within the startup ecosystem, Endeavor Miami has proudly announced the introduction of its latest EndeavorLAB Latinx cohort. This initiative, backed by JPMorgan Chase and in partnership with DELL for Startups, is a testament to Miami’s evolving status as a cradle of global innovation, particularly for the Latinx community.
The EndeavorLAB program is uniquely designed to support underrepresented entrepreneurs in Florida, including Black, Latinx, and women founders. These groups often face disproportionate challenges in securing funding and accessing essential resources for growth. EndeavorLAB aims to bridge this gap by providing a nurturing environment of community, knowledge, and support, empowering these entrepreneurs to thrive against the odds.
This year’s cohort comprises ten startups led by twenty co-founders from across Latin America, including Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. These startups span a variety of industries, such as enterprise SaaS, fintech, consumer tech, CPG, and logistics, showcasing the diverse and scalable potential within the Latinx entrepreneurial community. Remarkably, these companies have collectively generated over $2.5 million in revenue in 2023 and are projected to surpass $10 million in 2024, backed by an impressive $18 million in external funding.
The two-month program offers a flexible yet structured curriculum tailored to the founders’ hectic schedules, requiring just four hours of commitment per week. This approach ensures that participants can continue to build momentum in their businesses while benefiting from the program’s resources.
Claudia Duran, Managing Director of Endeavor Miami, expressed her excitement about the cohort, highlighting the ambition and innovation of the selected startups. She believes that this cohort not only underscores the potential within the community and the broader Latinx entrepreneurial ecosystem but also aligns with Endeavor Miami’s mission to facilitate their growth and impact.
The introduction of this year’s Latinx cohort is a milestone for Endeavor Miami and a beacon of hope for underrepresented founders in South Florida. It underscores the organization’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive, diverse, and competitive entrepreneurial landscape. As these startups embark on their EndeavorLAB journey, their success stories are poised to inspire future generations of entrepreneurs, demonstrating that with the right support and community, the possibilities are limitless.
The EndeavorLAB Latinx Cohort features a vibrant array of startups, including Casalú, a rum seltzer brand embodying modern Latino culture; CodeGPT, offering customizable and secure LLM as an Operating System; Highlights App, connecting fans with personalized sports highlights; iTruckr, leveraging AI for independent trucking operations; Kanto, an interactive singing app with the world’s most accurate scoring technology; Mavity, an AI-powered tool for creative operations; Neomoon, providing financial access and education in LATAM; Onyx Private, simplifying financial management for small business owners; Palla, enabling instant funds transfer from the US to LatAm; and Securily, revolutionizing pen testing for SMBs with AI and certified human expertise.
