Infinitus Systems Closes $30 mln Funding Round to Facilitate Healthcare B2B Communication

Infinitus Systems, a San Francisco-based automation startup, has raised $30 million in Series B funding to improve healthcare B2B communication via phone call automation.

The funding round was led by GV, formerly known as Google Ventures, with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Coatue Management, and several healthcare executives. Aaron Weiner, Managing Director at Coatue; and Dr. Krishna Yeshwant, Managing Partner at GV, will be joining Infinitus’ Board of Directors as a result of the round. Ankit Jain, co-founder and CEO of Infinitus, said about the round:

“We’re excited to work with GV, Kleiner Perkins, and Coatue Management as we tackle one of the most overlooked areas of healthcare. We are incredibly optimistic about the coming year, as well as the long-term opportunity to replace phone calls with API calls giving time back to our customers so they can focus on the patient interactions that really matter.”

Founded in 2019, Infinitus Systems has been building voice automation solutions to improve communication by easier verifying benefits with major medical payers. DynamoBV, the startup’s flagship product, makes use of machine learning to easily connect existing patient management systems to more than 110 unique data points. Shyam Rajagopalan, co-founder and CTO of Infinitus, said about the platform’s capabilities:

“DynamoBV™ augments state-of-the-art natural language processing with our proprietary expert in-the-loop processes to automate high-volume tasks and seamlessly navigate exceptions. The machine precision of Infinitus’ AI engines combined with the experience of our benefit verification specialists ensures the successful handling of edge cases while enabling the expansion into new use cases quickly. With continuous reinforcement to our ML conversation models, Infinitus customers benefit from the improvements made to the system in real-time without the need for costly client-side upgrades.”

With automation becoming an increasingly relevant practice across different industries, Infinitus Systems has become a pioneer in bringing it to healthcare-related organizations to avoid routine business phone calls. By allowing them to focus their efforts on other areas, the startup reduces costs to make healthcare more accessible and improve its quality.
