Elite Technology, also known as Elite Robot, is a Shanghai-based collaborative robotics company. The company recently closed its Series B financing round of $27 million, bringing the company’s overall funding to $47 million. This round of funding is led by CICC, with follow-on Investment from National SME Development Fund and Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group.

Elite Robot produces a series of 6-axis and 7-axis collaborative robots. With the new funding, the company is planning to grow its engineering team, and establish regional support for customers across the world.

The Elite Robot manipulators are used in a variety of applications, include automotive, electronics, packaging, logistics, metal fabrication and chemical processing applications. The company has passed the 10,000 unit production mark and is looking to expand beyond Asia, into new markets.

The product line features manipulators with payload handling capacity of: 3 kg / 6 kg / 12 kg. Elite Robots are lightweight and deliver collaborative automation options for assembly, tightening, machine loading and unloading, material detection, item picking, stacking and destacking, grinding and polishing applications.
