The vibrant energy of SXSW 2024 swept through Austin, Texas, drawing a diverse crowd from all over to hit its streets earlier this month. For more than a week, the city transformed into a hub of innovation, showcasing the latest in entertainment, technology, and beyond.
Amidst the backdrop of creative confluence, WOWZER AI made a significant impact at The Lively & Grit Daily House. The house, which was active from March 9th to the 11th, saw WOWZER AI take the stage on the 11th to blend the realms of artificial intelligence and artistic expression.
At the forefront of the generative AI revolution, WOWZER partnered with the Lively and Grit Daily teams on two panels, each delving deep into the synergy between AI and creativity.
Discussions on “Visual Imagination: From Thoughts to Screen” and “Unleashing the Controversy of Generative AI in Art and Storytelling” called the audience to explore new frontiers in the creative world. They challenged existing norms and inspired innovation, setting the stage for a groundbreaking exploration of how technology can amplify human creativity.
The first panel, “Visual Imagination: From Thoughts to Screen,” featured C. Craig Patterson, the visionary director of the celebrated short film “FATHEAD.” Patterson explored how artificial intelligence is transforming creative processes.
The discussion on empowering the creative unveiled the potential of AI tools and workflows to enhance visual ideation and concept development, offering creatives new avenues for exploration and innovation.
Patterson remained on stage for a second panel with James Word, VP of AI Management at WOWZER, Chris Vienneau, the founder of FX-DMZ, and Gabby Hoefer, a UX Researcher at IBM. They held a spirited conversation on “Unleashing the Controversy of Generative AI in Art and Storytelling,” a panel that ignited a thought-provoking conversation on the role of generative AI in the arts.
WOWZER AI is driven to facilitate dialogue at the intersection of AI and creativity, with a broader mission to democratize the image generation process.
