Thriday, a financial management platform for gig workers, sole traders, start-ups and small- and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) is preparing to beta launch in Australia.
Thriday wants to tackle “the poor quality of financial management solutions offered to small businesses”.
It provides business accounts with instant payments and transaction insights, automated expense categorisation and reconciliation, one-touch professional invoicing and reminders, and accounting and tax data functionality.
The tax feature leverages the user’s individual tax profile and their account transaction activity to generate estimates, forecasts and draft financial reports automatically.
Thriday’s invoicing feature generates and sends professional invoices and quotes from Thriday straight to customers. Recipients receive an email with a pdf invoice alongside a payment link.
The platform also has a receipt scanning feature which automatically reconciles with the corresponding transaction.
Thriday can also use these receipts to better categorise expenses, identify tax obligations, forecast tax position and ultimately maximise a tax return while staying compliant.
Thriday CEO Michael Nuciforo says the firm is about to give access to its early waitlist members, crowdfunding investors and “skip the queue” registrants.
“With over 10,500 businesses on our launch waitlist, our team is going to be busy with applications over the next few months!” says Nuciforo.
