Bond.AI, a global fintech company offering an AI suite for financial institutions, has made two senior appointments.
Kent Llewelyn and Amit Dhongde join newly created executive positions as CTO and head of technology, respectively.
The two are intended to help accelerate innovation of the company’s Empathy Engine product and extend its presence beyond the US, India and Switzerland.
Llewelyn was formerly CIO/CTO at Utah-based TAB Bank. Dhongde has a 25+ year career spanning, among others, Accenture and Cognizant. The latter’s role will include streamlining processes around the company’s team in India.
Empathy Engine, via proprietary algorithms, is designed to understand consumer behaviour through a combination of financial, non-financial and intangible data.
Llewelyn says: “The whole goal of Bond.AI is to help educate people about their finances. We can give them an understanding of their financial health and what they can do right now to improve it.
“Applications like ours can help them become financially independent by utilising all the tools they have available and aren’t exclusive to the people that already have a lot of money.”
The two new joiners follow closely on the heels of Yogesh Asudani, formerly of Nokia and Microsoft, who recently came on board as executive vice president of partnerships.
