First Federal launches new digital banking platform powered by Narmi

The bank says the newly designed online platform includes a mobile app for consumer and business customers and has been designed to “simplify the financial management experience”.

New features include quick external transfers to accounts at other banking institutions, security alerts and enhanced mobile cheque deposit capabilities.

The bank has also added a new financial management tool, My Financial View, which allows customers to connect accounts at other financial institutions to track account balances, spending habits and personal net worth on one dashboard, as well as build custom budgets with a drag-and-drop tool.

“Now, our customers can take a real hands-on approach to budgeting and managing their entire financial picture in real-time, including goal-setting and timely alerts,” says Mark Rieger, client experience officer at First Federal.

As a mutual bank established in 1934, First Federal offers retail banking and consumer, mortgage and construction lending, serving more than 25,000 customers in the Kansas City area.

The bank initially announced the upgrade in partnership with Narmi in June 2021.

Founded in 2016 and based in New York, Narmi offers an API-driven platform enabling consumer digital banking, business banking and digital account opening.
