Hartej Sawhney, Zokyo CEO, Asserts AI as a Game-Changer in the Cybersecurity Space, Alludes to Innovation Ahead

Hartej Sawhney, a cybersecurity innovator known for launching, Hosho, the first cybersecurity company in the Web3 space in 2016, is continuing down the path of pioneering with Zokyo, his other venture, which is poised to be among the first to leverage forefront technologies.

The Zokyo team, founded by Sawhney, including his team of dedicated white hackers, identified the potential of AI for the cybersecurity space long before it became a trend. 

“We’ve been working on various tools since 2018 and have successfully implemented them in our day-to-day work,” says Hartej Sawhney. 

Currently, the company is focused on building an AI-driven risk prevention network of independent node operator who monitors blockchain events, allowing companies to proactively track and prevent vulnerabilities in real-time.

“Web3 cybersecurity is fundamentally different from Web2. Unlike Web2, where centralized entities have greater control, Web3’s decentralized nature introduces new security considerations. We are aiming at providing Web3 cybersecurity playbooks and enabling proactive intelligence,” says Sawhney.

A product that is set to launch in the near future will help companies detect and prevent zero-day cyber attacks and help organizations protect digital assets. In 2023, approximately $265 million has been lost or stolen from the industry.

“AI assists developers in analyzing smart contracts and helps them develop more securely. It also enables security auditors to focus on discovering harder-to-miss manually discovered logic flaws still not commonly found by AI,” notated Zokyo’s CEO.

One trend to note is the use of AI for threat detection and response. AI’s machine learning capabilities can analyze patterns and predict potential security breaches based on historical data, allowing for real-time response and preemptive actions. This proactive approach has been a game-changer, shifting the cybersecurity landscape from reactive to preventative.

Moreover, AI is enabling automation in cybersecurity. Routine tasks and operations can be automated, freeing up specialists to focus on more complex issues. This shift toward automation is not only improving efficiency but also helping to address the cybersecurity skills gap in the industry.
