Venture capital fund Impacta VC announced the launch of a strategic capital raising program focused on impact startups all across Latinamerica. The program (called Impact Fundraising Strategy Program or IFSP for its acronym in Spanish) is designed to teach startups to understand the VC game so they can create their own fundraising strategy to access pre-seed, seed or Pre-Series A rounds.
To help purpose-driven entrepreneurs fund and scale their companies and, consequently, their positive impact on the world, Impacta VC has teamed up with a regional team of 20 industry talents, including Alan Farcas (Chile, former Endeavor and Nazca Ventures), Stephen Jakter (Uruguay, impact angel investor), Marcus Dantus (Mexico, Shark Tank and founder of Startup Mexico), or Adeo Ressi (Founder of VC Lab, TheFunded, Founder Institute and Elon Musk’s room-mate), among others.
“We are looking for entrepreneurs who are able to lead their startups with scalable models, so they are better positioned to raise this year,” said David Alvo, CEO and founder of Impacta VC.
The IFSP program will start on September 27th, in online mode. It will last 12 weeks, with 2 sessions per week of 1 hour each.
Impacta VC has in its portfolio early investments in Chilean companies Betterfly, Wheel the World and Lab4U. The fund plans to triple its portfolio by 2022 with other impact companies throughout Latin America.
