Jasper Closes $125 Million Series A

Jasper, an Austin, TX-based provider of an AI powered content platform, raised $125M in Series A funding, at a $1.5 billion valuation.

The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from Coatue, Bessemer Venture Partners, IVP, Foundation Capital, Founders Circle Capital, HubSpot Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to further invest in the product, improve the customer experience, and bring Jasper to all the platforms creators use.

Led by CEO Dave Rogenmoser, Jasper is an AI content platform that enables individuals and teams to leverage AI to scale their content strategies. With the solution, anyone from individual freelancers to creators at enterprise companies can break through writer’s block, repackage what they’ve written, create original images, and adapt their content to different formats and languages.

The funding follows the addition of Jasper Art, a browser extension that allows Jasper to power every textbox on virtually any site. The extension can be found at Jasper.ai and works across Google Docs, Gmail, Notion, HubSpot, Shopify, social media platforms, content management systems and many more content destinations.

Jasper now supports more than 70,000 paying subscribers ranging from individual creatives to teams at large enterprises.
