In this week’s episode, Steve and Mike interviewed Jon Hirschtick, founder of two popular CAD companies: SolidWorks AND Onshape. Jon sold Onshape to PTC and is now General Manager for the Onshape division at PTC. We talk to Jon about his days at MIT where he was involved with the MIT Blackjack Team and what it takes to build a software company (twice) and sell the businesses.
Also on the show this week, we discuss the robotics news of the week, and we play voicemails from listeners. The key question this week: “What’s your favorite startup of 2021?”
