Kabir Kochhar, Founder of Audacity VC: Bridging The Gap From Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 And Why Media is so Important

Audacity, a U.S. and Asia venture capitalist firm with Los Angeles-based offices has launched a $60M fund that is helping to break down barriers for cutting-edge media and ad-tech startups that are looking to capitalize on the shift from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0.

The fund, Audacity VC is founded by Kabir Kochhar who has diverse experience as an investor and operator in the media realm. In his last role, Kochhar was general partner at Anthill, managing its India fund and his investments include multiple double-digit exits over the past decade. As a media operator, he previously exited his own media company, The Glitch to WPP.  

On this episode of the Grit Daily Startup, Kabir explains that the fund is deeply entrenched in the Asian media ecosystem and invests across the Creator Economy, Media SaaS, and Gaming sectors. Specifically, it invests in media-focused start-ups based in Asia looking to scale in the US.
