Meniga, an Iceland and UK-based digital banking and personal financial management (PFM) software provider, has appointed a new CEO, Simon Shorthose.
Shorthose takes over the role from co-founder Georg Ludviksson, who remains a shareholder of the company.
Speaking on the new appointment, Ludviksson says Shorthose has a “20-year track record of proven results in tech on a global scale”.
Over those two decades, Shorthose has held various senior leadership roles at firms across software and financial services, including head of global sales at SaaS banking platform Mambu.
Ludviksson co-founded Meniga in 2009 and the firm now boasts banking customers across 30 countries, including Intesa, Nordea and UOB.
Shorthose says: “There is a growing demand to invest in improved online and mobile channels to create deeper customer engagement, build greater loyalty and ultimately meet business outcomes.”
Meniga‘s products include data aggregation technologies, personal and business finance management solutions, cashback rewards and transaction-based carbon insights.
