Method Man & Redman, Latasha, and Disclosure Set to Perform During CoinDesk Consensus

With April almost over, crypto supporters are still recovering from all the excitement of Bitcoin 2022. We learned about an upcoming Bitcoin bipartisan bill, Jordan Peterson shared his opinion on Bitcoin and entrepreneurship, saw Peter Thiel launch a tirade against the economic elite, and partied as if there was no tomorrow. Now, we are already getting ready for the big next thing: Coindesk’s Consensus.

This year’s edition of the festival will be taking place in Austin, also known as the “The Live Music Capital of the World”. With this nickname in mind, it is convenient that the organizers have already booked some of the most talented artists of our times: Method Man & Redman, Latasha, and Disclosure.

Of these artists, Method Man & Redman, and Latasha will be performing at Banger’s on Thursday, while Disclosure fans will have to wait until Friday to join them at Stubb’s. The organizers have yet to announce who will be performing on Saturday at Empire Control Room & Garage.

Organized by one of the biggest media outlets focused on cryptocurrency and blockchain, Consensus brands itself as “The festival for the decentralized world”. With more than 400 speakers, 200 sponsors, and 15k attendees, the festival promises 4 days of the hottest takes and insights the industry can offer.

The conference brings people from all over the world to learn directly from those who are shaping the decentralized world of the future.  The metaverse, investing, NFTs, Decentralized Finance, Web3, blockchain, regulation, and culture, are some of the topics attendees can expect to be covered.

With only 43 days to go until the start of the event, the list of speakers already includes names like Sam Bankman-Fried, FTX’s CEO; Abby Johnson, Chairman and CEO at Fidelity Investments; Cathie Wood, Founder, CEO, and CIO at ARK Invest; Wally Adeyemo, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury; Changpeng Zhao, Binance’s Founder & CEO;  Edward Snowden, President of the  Freedom of Press Foundation; and Garry Kasparov, former world chess champion.

As is tradition now, we at Grit Daily House will also be hosting a satellite event for those attending Consensus this year. We have partnered with Linqto to bring a lineup of stars to add even more value to your visit to Austin. If good food and drinks are your things, be ready to enjoy the unique experience that only George the Celebrity Doorman, Ozzy the Bartender, and our private chef can provide.

Grit Daily House Satellite will be taking place on June 9 and 10, featuring panel discussions, presentations, fireside networking, music, and much more. If you want to join us, make sure to get your tickets here!
