GoSolo, which claims to be “built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs”, has developed an app designed to support global freelancers, founders and consultants in setting up a UK limited company and UK business account without a personal UK address.

“Our background in finance, technology and entrepreneurship helps us understand the challenges, requirements and opportunities small business owners face every day,” the fintech says.

GoSolo cites the many benefits of setting up a business in the UK, including a developed investment ecosystem, significant tax incentives for tech firms, a transparent legal system and being plugged into global markets.

The new GoSolo global account costs £250 a year and enables customers to form a new company which is registered and authorised by the UK’s Companies House.

The account also includes a virtual UK business address, a GBP business current account, Mastercard debit card, savings pots, spending analysis tools, secure payments through the Faster Payments Network and invoicing automation tools.

The fintech says that thanks to the company’s use of automation, GoSolo is able to offer its global account ten times cheaper than one would expect from a legal advisor offering the same service.

The company was founded by Dima Pimakhov and is open now for applications from citizens of more than 90 countries.
