Corporate service platform Sleek has raised $14 million in a Series A funding round led by Jungle Ventures and White Star Capital.
The Singaporean firm intends to use the cash to invest in tech and product development, grow its workforce and expand its global footprint outside of Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the Philippines.
Sleek recently acquired UK incorporation management firm Ltd Companies as part of a move into the UK market.
The start-up says its platform will be deployed to existing Ltd Companies clients to create a “holistic SME operating system” for UK entrepreneurs and businesses.
The company’s platform acts an ‘operating system’ for entrepreneurs and small businesses, providing back office utilities such as secretarial, bookkeeping, payroll, tax advisory and employment visa services.
Entrepreneurs and small business owners can also open a business deposit account through the platform, with a dashboard displaying financial information gathered via Sleek’s bookkeeping and accounting services.
The company says digitalising the financial workflow means accounting, taxes, bookkeeping and governance can all be handled in one place.
