In this role, you will be joining the Finance BI team, designing and building the Data Warehouse models, transformation pipelines and Looker structures which will be leveraged by finance stakeholders and analysts across Checkout to gather insights and fulfil reporting requirements.
You will have ownership around the accuracy and consistency of data for reporting and analytics within the finance domain. You will design and implement high-performance, reusable and scalable data models for their Data Warehouse to ensure that end-users get consistent and reliable answers when running their own analyses.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years working experience as a data or software engineer in a fast-paced growing company, along with excellent SQL knowledge and strong hands-on data modeling and data warehousing skills. 1+ years of experience using Looker / Tableau / PowerBI is also required. Familiarity applying software engineering best practices to analytics (e.g. version control, testing and CI/CD) is also a plus.
Technology and Assets Lead, Global Tax and Legal, Deloitte
Deloitte is looking for an experienced Senior Manager or Director to join their Global Tax, Legal Quality and Risk team to lead in the area of technology and assets following a recent retirement.
In this interesting and diverse role, you will be supporting the organisation to navigate and mitigate risks, in particular for the areas of technology and assets, optimising resources to get assets to market and meet client expectations.
You will drive coordination between various DTTL and Member Firm stakeholders, regional teams and business asset owners. The position will be reporting to the Global Tax, Legal Quality and Risk leader and will partner with the rest of the team members to drive organisation-wide standards, principles and operating models to maximise the value that the team provides to the Global Tax and Legal business strategy and organisation.
You will lead the community of T&L technology focused risk professionals within each member / participating firm, creating a global community to drive adoption of standards that can be leveraged to deliver consistency, drive collaboration and eliminate duplication.
You will also be responsible for managing stakeholders required to deliver new offerings across all enabling functions at both the global and member firm level including the CTO network, IT, CoRe, IT of the Future, Business Security, Cyber, Privacy and Confidentiality, independence, ethics, OGC/contracting and more, as well as represent Tax and Legal on global initiatives and projects.
