Wedo Welcomes Pattie Howard as Chief of Diversity

The Grammy-nominated music industry veteran will guide the efforts of Wedo to ensure that every person – regardless of race or background – can succeed in entrepreneurship

SANTA ANA, CA. –– Wedo, an American and European communication and financial platform built for freelancers and entrepreneurs that integrates payment and banking, networking, and social tools all in one easy-to-use app, welcomes Pattie Howard as Chief of Diversity.

“I see Wedo as a living, breathing example of what diversity in the workforce should represent, not as a company aspiring to excel in its compliance with a ‘diversity policy’, or ‘commitment to inclusion,’” said Pattie Howard, Chief Diversity Officer at Wedo. “It is my goal to shine the brightest light possible on the ideals embodied within each person that represent the ultimate success of the company.”

Howard began her tenure with Wedo in 2020 as a member of the board of advisors. She has released two albums with major record labels and owns her own full service entertainment company, PH Balanced Music. Howard is also known for singing background for many major artists, including Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross, among many others, and she is credited on dozens of Gold and Platinum recordings encompassing artists from almost every genre.
